Temperature Control maintains a complex sales enquiries pipeline due it’s huge range in products, high number of customers and need for tailor solutions for each sale.
To help them manage the pipeline more efficiently and provide a status view of sales - we created a sales dashboard in Sharepoint.
Temperature Control are a proudly australian based electrical engineering and manufacturing company. Having been founded in 1988, they supply some of the biggest companies in Australia for their temperature and level sensor needs.

The Problem
Temperature Control specializes in selling a wide range of temperature sensors and industrial equipment for commercial use. Due to the specialized nature of their products, sales inquiries are handled individually to ensure the best product is selected to meet each customer’s specific needs. These inquiries were being managed directly through the sales@ mailbox, relying on tags and categories to organize statuses and assign sales personnel. However, this method was not fit for purpose; it was cumbersome for handling a large volume of inquiries, lacked a clear overview of the current sales funnel status, and made updating or re-categorizing inquiries unnecessarily complex.
The Challenge
Changing a long-standing process within an organization is always challenging. The new solution needed to significantly improve the organization of sales inquiries while being intuitive and easy for the team to adopt. Additionally, the transition to the new solution had to be seamless to ensure no inquiries were overlooked and that the workload during implementation did not increase unnecessarily.
The Solution
To streamline our customer’s sales inquiry management process and provide a comprehensive view of the sales funnel, we developed a customized sales dashboard using SharePoint. By leveraging Power Automate, sales inquiries automatically created new entries in a SharePoint list, which included the customer’s name based on their email domain. Multiple tailored views/dashboards of the SharePoint list were implemented to support the specific needs of different users and teams. Managing inquiries became straightforward, as updates to item fields immediately reflected across all dashboards.
The result was a user-friendly and efficient sales dashboard, enabling the customer to handle their high volume of sales inquiries with far greater ease and productivity.
